Looks like Erik Childress is first out of the gate with official 2008 Oscar nomination predictions. His list is surprising in that The Dark Knight comes out on top with 12 nominations.

I think Wall-E deserves to be nominated but I don’t see it happening. And no way Frost/Nixon misses. It just isn’t that weak, I don’t think. It’s hard to say how things will eventually turn out; we all fairly certain Danny Boyle is winning the DGA and Slumdog the PGA but guessing the nominations? That’s a tough call.
