The thing is, the post-Globes Oprah would have been great prenoms, because it might have helped The Reader AND Revolutionary Road with Oscar nods. Oprah had chosen The Reader for her Book Club and there is no doubt that the subject matter would be right up her tree. Unfortunately, any buzz she stirred up won’t be felt when the nominations are announced (gasp) Thursday.
Nonetheless, Kate ruled the day on Oprah. She also got props for having real breasts, characters almost in their own right, having been featured in many of her films over the years.
