Glad Blindness got some recognition. It was completely underrated and undervalued this year.

Looks like the Wall-E train is gaining steam.

AND WOOT: ROSEMARIE DEWITT. It takes a skilled actress to maintain some sanity in her character after all the shit her sister pulls…man, I loved Rachel Getting Married.

Completely adorable. : ) Except for the fact that there’s hardly ever any promotion or even exihibition of Canadian films in most Canadian cities, even in a ‘biggie’ like Vancouver.

    Whatever happened to Adoration, anyways…?

Too lazy to get to the forums, but just seen JCVD and that’s the snub of the year everywhere as Best Actor – I’ve seen one of the performances nom’d here and it doesn’t reach the same level in any way. Sigh. What a moving performance.

Would have been better if Kate Winslet was also nominated for The Reader in Supporting.

IF they joined 2 films…its a sure win now.

KATE WINSLET WINS THIS HANDS DOWN

    So glad for Tomei.
Man, this supporting actress lineup is killing me. Will Ms. Tomei make it? Or Amy Adams? I don’t know if Taraji P. Henson is a lock.
Will the lovely Ms. Winslet make the cut for The Reader?
This is giving me a headache………..
