HollywoodFest announces this year’s early honorees — Carey Mulligan, Jeremy Renner, Lee Daniels, Gabourey ‘Gabby’ Sidibe, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
Mulligan will receive the “Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award,” Renner will get the “Hollywood Breakthrough Actor Award,” director Lee Daniels will receive the “Hollywood Breakthrough Director Award,” Gabourey Sidibe will receive the “New Hollywood Award,” and screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber will be recognized with the “Hollywood Breakthrough Screenwriter Award” for 500 Days of Summer. It’s nice, actually, to see that film receive an early honor like this.
