Nine Test Screening Reax

Thing is, I don’t often go for these kinds of things because they are just too iffy – who are these people, what cut of the film did they see, are they really shills in disguise, etc.  Nonetheless, because it is so hotly anticipated here at AD, why not give the people what they want.  Nat over at the Film Experience has a lengthy report on two people who saw Nine.

Not surprised about Penelope and Marion raves. Cruz has never looked more beautiful and sexy. They both practically jump off the screen even in a short trailer. These two roles also have Tony pedigree.

Ok I have a question! When test screenings for movies like nine are done…do they pick some random theatre? Or is there anyway to know about it? I would love to see a test screening for this movie! Thanks

OK, so screenings pretty much sum it up to this:

    a) C&C or one of them are/is most likely nom(s).

    b)DDL maybe.

c)Nobody else when it comes to acting. Close the book on Kidman, Loren, Dench, etc. Not happening.

d)Movie = nom maybe. Win = no way. Same for director.

Lol, so, there’s is danger of Cruz getting double nom and winning back-to-back Oscars?

Oh, the days when you were bashed if you dared to point out her acting in spanish movies as prove that she could act!

“Cruz getting double nom and winning back-to-back Oscars?”

Well that will certainly stop the whole “too soon” deal that people keep talking about.
