It’s probably a long shot to imagine Angelina Jolie anywhere near an Oscar nod for her turn in Salt. ¬†What I liked about it, though, was that it was kind of a combination of Lara Croft and A Mighty Heart. ¬†It was also just a thrill and a half to watch a woman in that traditional male role. ¬†Women, especially someone as lovely as Ms. Jolie, usually have to be sexy-kicking through the whole thing and then sex-humping someone or something. ¬†But here, you have a whole character fighting for her life. ¬†The only other female I’ve seen do this is Jodie Foster. ¬†Anyway, just because we didn’t go to Comic-Con doesn’t mean we can’t cherry pick out the best parts.
