There is a short film contest for Time Warner Cable and IFC. Entries Accepted September 15 ‚Äì October 31 on Time Warner Cable‚Äôs New YouTube Channel, www.youtube.com/timewarnercable. Four Grand Prize winners will receive a 4-night trip for two to the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, January 20-30.
A panel of expert judges will choose up to 25 finalists based on creativity, quality and content. Consumers can view entries and vote for their favorite on Time Warner Cable‚Äôs YouTube channel from November 9th through November 16st. A combination of the expert panel and online voting from the public will determine four Grand Prize winners, which will be announced in December. The panel of judges includes indie filmmaker Joe Swanberg (‚ÄúHannah Takes the Stairs‚Äù), horror film director Ti West (‚ÄúHouse of the Devil‚Äù), IFC and Sundance Channel President, Evan Shapiro, and IFC News host Matt Singer.
