BAFTA has released¬†its Draft¬†Entered Films List for the 2010 awards.¬†Titles that I notice are missing: Animal Kingdom, Frankie and Alice, and Country Strong, presumably¬†taking Jacki Weaver, Halle Berry and Gwyneth Paltrow out of this year’s BAFTA race. 127 Hours¬†qualifies as a British film (allowing it to compete in¬†the Best British Film category¬†as well as Best Film), while Inception’s Brit-or-not status is yet to be determined. From last year’s Oscar crop, The Secret in Their Eyes, The Secret of Kells and The Blind Side¬†are eligible for BAFTA 2010. Will we¬†be treated to¬†Sandra Bullock redux?
