TIME counts down the 25 best animated films

(created two years after the Korean War, this cute scene looks a lot uglier 5 decades later with its casual racism aimed at the ‘Red Chinese.’ Never mind that the ‘Siamese’ should represent our Thai allies. At this point in American history it was convenient — even expedient — to paint all Southeast Asians as devious communists.)
