Fox Searchlight has launched a new website for the Steve McQueen film, Shame. The score plays movingly in the background as the images flicker on the screen. As you scroll down over the site a fragment of an image emerges taking into you into a different scene from the film. It serves as a wonderful reminder of some of the most memorable moments.
More screenshots after the cut.
Clicking the links to the right and actor and filmmaker bios appear. It’s all rather cool.
Shame is one of the best films of the year and will likely land on top of many top ten lists. More on the website.
A very nice website. I’m glad to see Fox Searchlight walking the talk about promoting this wonderful film.
For most of us, these aren’t beautiful reminders, but beautiful teasers. I, like many others, am very excited to see it. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until January, but I think I can manage it 😀
Very cool site, and I love the score and the bits of dialogue. I can’t wait to see this film. It’s one of my most anticipated.
Sasha, could you please release your own top ten list this year?
It’d be interesting to hear what you loved most in the year.
I’m very much looking forward to this, but I doubt it will come anywhere near me. Great photography though, especially the first and second pictures.
