  2. Oh dear. I must have predicted at least 8 Oscars for The Artist. I don’t know how you did it this year, Sasha, but you pulled off some great coverage.

  4. You know I just don’t get why the Academy would snub Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2? It did an excellently trememndous job in the global (domestic and foreign) box office and broke alot of records, and had universal critical acclaim like Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Titanic, The King’s Speech, Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc, The Sixth Sense, The Green Mile, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and The Lion King (I mean sure it wasn’t nominated but Beauty and the Beast was).

I could name alot of fan favorite movies that won the people’s choice award for Best Picture and was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.

A Few Good Men, Silence of the Lambs, Jurassic Park (shouldv’e been nominated for an Oscar for BP), Forest Gump, Apollo 13, Independence Day, Jerry Macguire, Titanic, The Sixth Sense, The Green Mile, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Spiderman (should’ve been nominated for Best Picture), The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The Passion of the Christ (and I still don’t see why it wasn’t nominated for Best Picture), The Bourne Supremacy, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Coach Carter, Star Trek, Inception, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, The Help, and now Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (which snubbed out of the Oscar nomination for Best Picture).
