Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.

Well Miss Eyeperson, head over to this site and checkup out some more pictures of HJ with “glowy syrup” colored eyes. Hey, I kinda like that description — “glowy syrup.” Nice ring to it. http://ozalots.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hjphotos&action=display&thread=7&page=19
Well I thought his eyes were cocoa brown, but either way they’re not supposed to look like glowy syrup. I posted before the Crowe photo was up and they played with his eyes too. They’re not natural looking. They look like glass eyes or marbles. Obvious touch ups. I’m an eye person so colored contacts or anything dishonest in the eyes bothers me.
The “I am the law” line is a direct lift from a song lyric. It’s a crucial one (“I am the law and the law is not mocked”) and was written almost a decade before Judge Dredd got released in 1995.
Russell Crowe is NOTHING on Tom Hooper in the insufferable dick department.
Seen Hugh up close and personal. That’s his true eye color — green/gold hazel. I have the same hazel eyes that look brownish in dim light. Very changeable.
Crowe might be a jerk in real life and difficult to deal with as an actor, but his presence is undeniable. One cannot help but to be drawn to his face. Other current actors who can mesmerize with just one look to me would be Meryl, Denzel, Gong Li, etc.
The one of Jackman is good but the one of Crowe is fantastic. That poster shows the essence of Javert’s character, I am the Law but also some questioning/doubt. Great job.
Russell Crowe as Judge Dredd? I can’t be the only one reminded of Stallone when I read that tagline.
Very nice poster, much better than the one with the scary looking kid. I never realized Hugh Jackman had green eyes or maybe those are colored contact lenses.
I prefer homeless Hugh with the snappy haircut. That would make a great poster. Is that a sweatervest?
Wow. The news is really flying out today. Is this a great Oscar season or what? We’re not half way through October and we’re getting inundated. *raises the roof*
The only thing I don’t like about this is that they futzed his eye color. There were these really silly posters for the show LOST that did the same thing. I don’t get it. It makes them look like cheap contact lenses. You know what it actually looks like? Remember when Jack Nicholson would turn into the wolf in WOLF? LOL, yeah anyway, glowy.
I am surprised they haven’t done an entire character set for this movie.
they probably have.
