I said this in the last thread, but i’ve been waiting for a decade for Thomas to get a good, meaty, hollywood role to remind everyone how absolutely incredible she is as an actress. I didn’t know her at all until I saw the mostly forgettable Life as a House and fell in love with her and have been a huge fan ever since. Its good to see she has come back from France to make movies here again! Hopefully there will be more roles for her in the future!
KST is a fabulous actress. I’m glad she’s been working outside Hollywood – where she has to work with Robert Pattinson, poor her – and she’s done really amazing things, like “I’ve Loved You So Long”.
I like the style for the most part but I’m a little hesitant based on the trailer I saw. Refn has done fantastic work and Gosling’s mostly been smart with his choices but I’m getting a very Hanna-vibe from this. I’m not quite sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing. It comes across as a dark fairytale of sorts…but seeing Gosling fight in a two piece might be good enough for me 😛
That is really cool.
