Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.

Hopefully, it’ll be more Gods and Monsters
That would make it a great movie. You mentioning it made me re-watch the trailer, and it makes it look like MY WEEK WITH MARILYN type disaster, nothing farther from the truth.
Also I’ve reconsidered the awards potential. If this contains plenty of witty, informative, eloquent tirades against U.S. foreign policy, it sure could make a splash with writers-branch elements who are receptive to that kind of flare; making a Best Adapted Screenplay likelier than Best Actor.
I’ll be rooting for Daniel Brühl in RUSH, if it turns out as good as I’m expecting.
Biopic is a biopic, so it depends on what Condon does with it. Hopefully, it’ll be more Gods and Monsters than the stuff he’s done recently. Certain that Cumberbatch will do a super job.
Yeah, Assange is an odd character, but fascinating, and being seated next to him on a plane would really make my day. Beats the hell out of the farter with the screaming kid.
Wow that was terrible and to some degree I like everyone involved, especially the two leads. Looks like an amped HBO biopic, and not a good one (e.g. BEHIND THE CANDELABRA). I know it’s just a trailer, but really low expectations for this. If I had to guess Cumberbatch maybe for Best Actor? And nothing else, but way outside the sight-unseen top 5. Whatever you think of his actions, Assange is a really weird/odd individual with an ugly voice and dreadful tics/mannerisms/affectations; certainly looks like someone I wouldn’t wanna be seated next to on an airplane flight. He is freaky in the worst possible way.
As an Aussie, I have to say that Benedict’s Australian accent isn’t half bad at all! A difficult one for foreigners to master but he does well, plus he nails the slow cadence of Assange’s voice.
This looks awesome! What a great biopic, Ive been interested in the Wikileaks stuff lately so it will be great to see how it all started and all the drama that unfolded due to the making of the website. I cant freakin wait for this.
hihi Bill Condom. hihihi. #IAm15 You may wonna correct that though
thanks!
