Yes, everything depended on Gods grace for without it Noah was helpless,
a doomed man. The 23-year-old supermodel has achieved much success and won honorable prizes in his
modeling career such as the 5th most successful male models of 2009 by
Forbes publications and the 36th of 50 most successful
male models in the world by models. Thus, it would be inaccurate
to say that the United States of America is a
“Christian society” even though a majority of its citizens are Christians.
I love it when folks come together and share thoughts.
Great site, keep it up!
the talk of Biblical accuracy with NOAH is so odd. the Christian community disdains modern Biblical films by secular artists yet looks with reverence to DeMille’s treatment of the scriptures in TEN COMMANDMENTS. really? where does the Bible say, “Oh, Moses, Moses, you stubborn, splendid, adorable fool!”
Ryan, thank you for that ^ comment. I was about to write an ignorant one of my own speaking of accuracy towards source material and now I have learned that the term I intended was “fidelity.” Learn something new every day.
By the way, when are you gonna sport a new hat in your avatar?
Ryan– accuracy to a text has no bearing on any (de)merits of the text itself, just its adaptation. You’ve taken a derogatory tone toward the source text. Why, within the context of sharing this featurette?
Why? Because “accuracy to a text” is not a thing. The concept you’re defending is called “fidelity to a text.”
Because “Fidelity to the Biblical Source” is not the same as “Biblical Accuracy.”
I think the title of the this featurette is a weak attempt to weasel around and seeks to placate fundamentalists who want to insist the Biblical account of the flood is historically accurate.
I believe there’s a fundamental problem with the phrase “Biblical Accuracy.” I think it’s silly to see people timidly trying to say, “Oh please don’t worry. We know this movie doesn’t faithfully reflect the accuracy of The Bible.”
The tone you call “derogatory” is only the tone I use when I’m skeptical.
Sorry to hear that, TB. Yeah, he does get tangled up with bigger budgets, almost distracted. Pi and Requiem were so much better than The Fountain or Wrestler. Swan was OK, but doesn’t hold up for many viewings.
Steve50… I’m pretty sure you’ll be disappointed. The film is just not good. He works better with smaller budgets.
“Oxymoron”? Closer to OxyContin.
The original text is so spare that it gives Aronofsky all kinds of leeway to exercise his unique imagination, which is a huge plus. He’s loose in the candy store here which might make it worth seeing.
The “accuracy” in question, on the other hand, has been superimposed for centuries by groups who recognize the story as scripture (Jewish, Christian, Moslem) and who have their own agendas. Nobody’s gonna be happy, but then, they never are. Nothing’s lost.
I’m making sure I see it on a Sunday so I can rush home afterward for a quick antidote of Cosmos.
“Biblical Accuracy”. Isn’t this an Oxymoron??
It makes good sense to choose a gun that is easier to sell on, or part exchange.
and also “The Golf Swing Secret” at now to see how Ben can help you get your game on the fast track

indication that you’re an old-fashioned gun fanatic, or you do not know much about high-tech guns at all.
