No Beasts of No Nation…
Another best actor nomination for Dano. It appears he’s becoming a lock for a supporting actor Oscar nom, I still predict the win though.
It would be great If the Best Actress Oscar lineup looks like this. Charlize Theron gave the most compelling and authentic performance as Imperator Furiosa. I think that now that Joy was a disappointment, many critics are taking Charlize seriously that’s why this is now her 18th critics nomination for Best Actress.

I like this late surge of nominations for Charlize Theron. I notice that it’s because Joy has disappointed most critics, and Alicia Vikander is getting nominated mostly for Ex Machina in supporting rather than The Danish Girl. I’d be more than thrilled if the Best Actress lineup for the Oscars looks like the one here.
seen that best actress lineup numerous times. thinking and praying it might come true. also still predicting Oscar Isaac as a surprise nominee, just to balance out vikander….
I would LOVE that Best Actress lineup; and I’d be fine with any one of them winning. Also, Isaac is totally deserving of a nomination.
I agree, this Best Actress lineup is great. Nice Seeing Charlize Theron getting the momentum she deserves.
