I’m in it for them. I don’t need to know who the writers are or what the “team” has done. Believe me when I say I know who Dante Ferretti and Sandy Powell are and what they’re capable of, but when I went into that theater, having paid for an overpriced ticket with my hard earned U.S.A. dollars, to see The Wolf of Wall Street, I didn’t do it for the “team” behind The Aviator, I did it for one man only, k, alright, thanks, bye. Irgo Love her. I expect such a fine soundtrack. But this is very Paul Greengrass Gustavo The more Bigelow the better; this looks tense as hell. But for the life of me I don’t get the appeal of John Boyega or Will Pouter, yikes. Ferdinand I was a bit worried because of the release date and Annapurna distributing the film but this looks amazing. Does the release of this trailer mean that we might see the film in the Cannes lineup tomorrow? Bryce Forestieri Wut, Boyega?! I love him and sort of see a lot of potential in Poulter ever since “The Maze Runner.” For the record, I thought this was a lousy trailer, but I am pre-sold so *shrugs* Bryce Forestieri Ouch! thatpj I don’t quite know what to make of this one. It looks good but weird in a way? Poulter drags it down. Maybe BP and some techs? We’ll see. Gustavo I had completely forgotten that Boyega starred in Attack the Block, which is a film I hold on high esteem. Yep, he was good in that. M. Murtaza Murad Love Bigelow and Boal. Liked the trailer. Would’ve preferred Michael B. Jordan over Boyega. JP Love this and can’t wait. But Poulter continues to do nothing for me. I trust they knew what they were doing casting him but it’s a headscratcher. Chris Price Wow, the Poulter hate is crackling in here! I can see a good movie in here, but this trailer house is trying hard to conventionalize the fuck out of it with this. Looking forward to an actual MOVIE coming out in August now that Baby Driver moved up! ThePhasmid …and so it begins. I can see this ending up like Demange’s “’71”. A loosely based action bio consumed of racial tensions from the viewpoint of an empathetic authoritarian figure caught in the chaos. It will more than likely have the same trajectory. So, I’m guessing some Critic’s Circles noms here. Possibly even more. Al Robinson Daaaamm! This looks absolutely phenomenal. Kathryn Bigelow is one of my favorite directors around because now when she releases a film, it’s an event. I wonder what the Oscar chances are here, and what the film festival play will be since it’s coming out in early August. Maybe it will premier at Cannes?? Rodrigo This looks incredible. Can’t wait! Gabriel In terms of structure and hype-building, this trailer sucks ass, but the footage looks awesome. I’ve no doubt that this will be an incredible piece of work. Bigelow’s back. andrevellozo I had no idea this project existed until today. Looks fantastic!! andrevellozo I like Paul Greengrass!!! Bryce Forestieri 🙂 knee play It’s Bigelow so I’m there but this trailer is so over-the-top and way too long. Christophe !!!CANNES ALERT!!! The official selection has been revealed: Sofia Coppola and Todd Haynes are IN – Hollywood Studios are OUT http://www.festival-cannes.com/en/actualites/articles/the-2017-official-selection Ferdinand Also, Netflix is IN, VR and TV are sort of IN (in the section that I think Frémaux called “the special special screenings”) and first time filmmakers are OUT if we’re just looking at the main competition Steven Kane I’m liking the trailer a whole lot. Unfortunately, in a Facebook film group I’m following, some people are already starting controversy with this. I long for the days of a new Bigelow film where shit isn’t thrown. Steven Kane Boyega owned the fuck out of Attack the Block. That whole cast had amazing chemistry. KD I’m most excited about the new seasons of Twin Peaks and Top of the Lake. Hal Jordan Great cinematography and edition. Hal Jordan Yes, but Greengrass hasn’t as much courage as Bigelow. Bryce Forestieri It’s a bad trailer. Sammy Who shot it? Chris Santana I feel like this is the movie @Sasha will be rooting her heart out this season! 🙂 Quite excited, tho an Ausgust release seems way too soon, then again what am I talking about? just remembered the hurt locker release..
