Netflix revealed the Bloodline Season 3 trailer today and announced a surprise late Emmy season birth. Join the tortured Rayburn family on May 26.
As if the 2017 Emmy season weren’t crowded enough, Netflix unveils the Bloodline Season 3 trailer. Along with the trailer comes a late season and Emmy-friendly release date of May 26. Bloodline Season 3 drops just days before sister prestige drama House of Cards on May 30. Honestly, the combination feels like a lot for Emmy voters to binge before June’s first round voting period.
Originally scheduled for a July 2017 release, Bloodline Season 3 again shows the Rayburn family’s past coming back to haunt them. Netflix keeps the plot under wraps, but you can assume a gritty Kyle Chandler, a sunny-yet-brooding Florida Key locale, and a dead but Emmy-winning Ben Mendelsohn. Frankly, if Mendelsohn receives another nomination after last year’s shocking win, then I’ll know the Television Academy never actually watched the show. He gave a great performance in Season 1. That was the time to reward him.
Here is the Bloodline Season 3 trailer followed by Rayburn family anguish porn. This season marks the series finale.
