Holy shit, Viola Davis? Hell yeah, she deserves to sweep all the awards for her unforgettable turn in Widows. THIS is a performance that should be a lock for The Oscars’ Best Actress Top-5, Toni Collette’s is, not Gaga’s. No hate for Gaga and kudos to her for being wonderful in Cooper’s film, she’s no match though next to performances of that caliber and since there are so many of them this year she shouldn’t even earn a nomination as far as I’m concerned. Thom Yorke winning for his exceptional score for Suspiria also feels amazing. I just wish Tilda shows up as Best Supporting Actress somewhere because she’s just insanely good in Guadagnino’s film once again.
Damn, they even shut out home-boy Bradley.
Love the nods for Jenkins, Davis, “Neighbor”, and Wells! They might not make my personal year end lists but it’s nice to see something different acknowledged!
I have seen Cold War, is by far the best movie of 2018, hope Amazon supports it…
Excuse the pun but it left me cold. I much preferred Burning.
congrats Tom Yorke !!! very well deserved.
