Netflix finally confirmed today what we’d long expected. It’s smash fall hit The Haunting of Hill House is officially a limited series and will compete as such at the 2019 Emmys. Multiple sites are reporting that the second installment of a planned anthology series will be called The Haunting of Bly Manor. Creators Mike Flanagan and Racy Macy are back on board for the second outing which will feature all new characters. Bly Manor, for those in the literary know (ie – not me), is a reference to a mansion used in the Henry James novella The Turn of the Screw.
The Haunting of Bly Manor will premiere on Netflix in 2020.
Thanks!! 🙂
Any update on The Crown, Curb Your Enthusiasm or Baskets? I feel like all three will be pushed to a Fall release.
Edit: According to Gold Derby, The Crown is in, Curb and Baskets are out. Also, Brian Cox and Tobias Menzies have been put as lead.
