By far the best directed and most tightly edited action sequence I’ve seen all year. And that includes Star Trek, Up, Taken, Watchmen and Knowing. (Though, gotta admit, that plane crash in Knowing was pretty spectacular. But it was impressive without being emotionally involving. This ‘winged beast’ clip had me by the ragdoll balls.)

I’m spoiled now. I shouldn’t have watched it. the best animated feature cat looks pretty interesting this year.
I’m not watching it, I think this movie has become too interesting to arrive spoiled to it. But really nice of you to vindicate the two most underrated movies of the year, so far: Watchmen and Knowing. How both have been bashed, – in Knowing’s case, beyond belief – is over me (just to point out, both movies have big, huge, hairy balls taking narrative and thematic risks, wether they liked it or not they should have conceded that to them).
that’s not even the best action sequence of the film….wait till you see the one involving a creature called….wait for it….the seamstress.
