Three words explain why this trailer is worth a look: Jackie Earl Haley. These kinds of movies stopped being scary to me ages ago, and it’s not because I outgrew them. This looks pretty dang creepy and stylish. Also interesting to note the beboot was written by Wesley Strick — who wrote the adaptation for Scorsese’s Cape Fear.

Looks awesome.
This is just wrong on all levels, STOP GOING TO SEE REMAKES! STOP SEEING MICHAEL BAY MOVIES! And NO ONE, can replace Robert fucking Englund. Looks terrible.
Stylish but hollow. Glad Jackie Earl Haley is still getting work. He’s a talented actor
just to think this was origionally gonna be played by Billy Bob Thorton – at least they got it right with Haley
Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake was actually good, imho. The Hills have Eyes and Friday the 13th were actually BETTER than the originals. And following remakes, dare I to say that Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead director’s cut was as bit as good – if in a different way – than Romero’s original?
This looks as it’s gonna be on the good side, specially after watching this Buñuel homage with the eye. And basically they got the only replacement to Englud I think could really work!
the re-makes just keep on rollin’ right along.
