Not to be outdone by yesterday’s trailers from 2 major mid-winter movies (Shutter Island and Green Zone), the 3rd important off-season release of 2010 comes out with another preview too. To my eye, there’s almost nothing new here that we didn’t already see in July — but the shots are edited together in different order, and the crowd reaction at the Scream Awards on Spike TV last night gives this clip the feeling of a familiar song performed in concert. In the interest of completing the collection, we’ll post it anyway.

ive never disliked a burton film, ill hold my opinion
Someone needs to send that Cheshire Cat back to the depths of Hell.
I’m sorry but this trailer, like all the previous ones, is not doing it for me. I too have never disliked a Burton film so I will hold back on the criticism.
I, on the other hand, have never liked a Tim Burton film, and this looks pretty much like all the others. So, nah.
most of burton’s charm in his earlier movies was how ‘hand made’ and fun the special effects were, his movies don’t work the same way anymore since they rely so much on digital effects
this looks like a smelly bomb.
i liked old burton: scissorhands, beetlejuice, batman returns, etc
the newer stuff (willy wonka, sweeny todd, apes, sleepy hollow, mars attacks) are all TERRIBLE. Alice looks more like these sadly.
sick of the depp / burton
I’m kind of a Burton fanboy (Sweeney Todd and Edward Scissorhands are two of my all time favorite films. Ever.) but this reminds of of the CGI crap-fest that was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (that along with Planet of the Apes are, in my opinion, the only bad films Burton has made). Hopefully I’m mistaken and it at least turns out to be as fun and entertaining as, say, Beetlejuice.
I can’t agree with people saying all of Burton’s newer films aren’t as good as his older stuff. Sure, “Charlie” might not have been very good and Corpse Bride wasn’t bad but wasn’t great, but Sweeney Todd and Big Fish were both wonderful.
So, what was the big surprise? it´s the same thing that we saw in last summer. So ryan, remove that. I thought it was a surprise thing. I can´t wait to see that film, and next time when they release another trailer, just let me know
lol at people cheering when Burton’s name showed up. also, were the people in the audience the same people who were in the paranormal activity ads hiding behind their popcorn buckets and jumping out of their seats? when they emote, they really like to make a show of it.
Yeah Ryan, remove that. Then go clean my car and pick up the dry cleaning.
That wasn’t almost the exact same trailer! What a rip!
I couldn’t handle all the screaming during the trailer, so I turned it off. The last one looked good though.
