Clive Owen, Naomi Watts, Armin Mueller-Stahl. Directed by Tom Tykwer. What I like about this is that Tykwer works with the same team behind the camera who gave us Run Lola Run, Heaven and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Did he bring enough of Germany with him to give us a German action film in English? Hard to tell from this standard Hollywood trailer, but I’m hopeful.

Not hopeful about the release date. Also, ‘Perfume’ was absolute rubbish. Despite that, against the draw of logic, I too am hopeful.
I’ve gotta say I was hopeful for this one when it was scheduled for August 08, but the vanilla trailer and the february dumping ground do not bolster my enthusiasm.
Armin Mueller-Stahl and Naomi Watts in another movie again? Sigh. I liked it better when it was called Eastern Promises.
Ryan, his name is TYKWER, not what you wrote. It is pronounced TJUK-VER. I know that guy. Cheers from rainy Moscow.
Doubt trailer is up now.
Hmm…
I really like Tykwer (haven’t seen Perfume) & I love Watts…
Getting tired of Owen’s ‘tough’ face though.
The premise has potential, as does the production, but I dunno…
This trailer isn’t great. That font, oh that font… bad bad bad.
But hey. Tom Tykwer & Naomi Watts. I’m there, with reservations set aside.
some one can tell me what is the sound music in the end of the “the international”
trailer
it’s called “Ball”, by Craig Armstrong, on the Plunkett and Macleane Soundtrack
