I saw this earlier this year, its a stunning film, im so glad that India has finally decided to submit a great movie. I t really took me by suprise it’s so emotional and uplifting and has one of the best child performances i’ve ever seen. im not surprised disney’s got the dvd rights. everyone should give this film a chance!
great choice might get nomination.
Taare Zameen Par (Stars on Earth) will stay with you for a long time. The performance by the kid (Darsheel) is mesmerizing and one of the best performances by children I have ever seen. It has its share of flaws especially during the 2nd half but overall, the film is incredibly effective. I hope it reaches up to the final 5 nominations but I am not sure it’s qualified for winning; we are yet to watch the competitor movies.
