Nineteen years after their last adventure, director Steven Spielberg and star Harrison Ford have no trouble getting back into the groove with a story and style very much in keeping with what has made the series so perennially popular. Few films have ever had such a high mass audience must-see factor, spelling giant May 22 openings worldwide and a rambunctious B.O. life all the way into the eventual “Indiana Jones” DVD four-pack.

Well! I hope its true, too. I was afraid the film would be even more a parody than the original trilogy, but will happily stand corrected if its not!
And Shia… whats not to love with this kid. Love him! (Love Channing Tantum more, tho)
everyone says it’s a re-hash of the originals, I don’t think that’s good enough, they had all this time they could have made something unique, to stand apart from the other movies, it is just lazy to throw all the elements from the others in a blender and recycle it… this means it can’t lose, but also means it won’t be special
I love Shia too Tufas. It’ll be interesting to see how well he does opposite someone like Harrison Ford.
ha ha ha! Sorry – this has nothing to do with anything, but on the Oscar Watch calendar for June 13, Edward Norton’s new film is listed as ‘credible Hulk’, which i just found really funny.
That would be a great movie title..
how very odd that INDIANA4 is being subject to such INTENSE critical scrutiny at a time when print critics are being laid off and critics (in general) are considered (by the blog world) as irrelevant.
