“When I get the ballot, I don’t vote if I haven’t seen all the films that are nominated. I just don’t vote. Another question would be how many people are just voting for a friend? Or what percentage of Academy members are voting? Maybe half the Academy winds up voting. It’s like the elections, when they say 60 percent is a great turnout. Well what about the other 40 percent?”
