The Academy Invites 928 New Members To Join With A Push on Diversity

The Academy announced today that they have invited 928 new members breaking its record of 2017's 774. This year, the Academy has invited its members from over 59 countries with over 49% of the new members being female. Again, an increase from 28% to 31% this year. 38% of the new members are people of color, increasing to 16% in 2018.
