Seriously, you got Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Brad Bird in a movie and some people is even skipping the trailer – just for good ol’ Tom?
I won’t say what I think of that situation coming from self-called “film-lovers” so I don’t get banned, hahaha.

I love Renner and Holloway. Tom Cruise has always had really good taste in co-stars. I will be seeing this. But December is gonna be insane. It’s usually just Oscar type movies for me not blockbusters too. I’m probably going to have to double up some days.

Renner would be my only reason to see this.

yeah i’m excited to see what bird can do… i’ll agree he’s fallen on hard times (most of it is self-induced) but the world was a better place when tom cruise was making solid and likeable blockbusters.

That trailer has me pretty excited to see this installment. I quite enjoyed J.J. Abrams’ take on the series, and I’m thinking I’ll like Brad Bird’s even more.

Don’t worry Ryan, you didn’t ruin my weekend. I wasn’t going to watch it if it gave away a major plot point. I did the same for Dream House earlier this year and successfully avoided the spoiler in that trailer, only to be extremely disappointed by the film. I wanted to steer clear of this because I have faith in the film.
s’ok, I’m teasing.
it would’ve diminished the faux outrage if I’d stuck a smiley on that comment.

@ Devin D
Never mind. You just told all of us who were going to avoid this video anyway.
yikes, you guys. I didn’t mean to ruin your weekend by posting this.
Whenever my reaction to a trailer is the opposite of the consensus, I have to decide which question to ask myself:
What’s wrong with me?
or
What’s wrong with everybody?
I’m leaning toward question #2 today.

Did the trailer tell us that both Tom Wilkinson AND Josh Holloway die?

I’m a soft touch in this case for supporting cast — I’ll be there ‘cuz of Jeremy Renner, the guy can act his socks off.

Another case of Crouching Tom, Running Tom. He is 49 and all this exertion is really showing. Not in his face, but in the jaded sequencing, settings and beats of the situations.
