You can watch the entire 53-minute conversation at CharlieRose.com. Meanwhile, yesterday Moneyball passed the the $100 mil worldwide baseline. True to the equations of the film itself, home runs aren’t required to win the box-office game. For a movie in its 11th week of release, Moneyball has enjoyed a remarkably gracefully slope in terms of weekly drop-off percentage. (Thanks to re-expansion to more screens last weekend, it’s numbers actually doubled from the previous week.) With $73mil domestic already banked, these extra innings put Moneyball moneywise well within comfortable scoring territory.
Hey There Ryan Adams,
Interesting Thoughts, Brad Pitt has starred in dozen of major Hollywood movies, and while he has somewhat of a reputation as a ladies’ favorite, it would definitely be off base to call him a pretty boy. Many characters played by Pitt are amazingly tough, with some being scarily so or psychopathic to boot. Before judging the actor’s work as being “pretty boy” or somewhere run of the middle, you will definitely want to consider some of these movies he’s been in before writing him off as a guy who can play a really dangerous character well.
Good Job!
