  1. I’ve never even heard of Google Hangout. I’m serious.

  2. Well, there were trailers of trailers, so I expect this to get weirder each year.

  3. Yes. This will be the first Google Hangout trailer.

  4. I wonder what compelled Spielberg to set this thing up on Google+, of all places. I can’t even remember the last time I had heard Google+ mentioned in casual conversation before this. You’d think a live YouTube feed or something like that would get a larger audience and more press.

Ah, well. Spielberg has his reasons, I’m sure. I’ll just have to wait about 10 more minutes longer for the trailer than other people.

  5. How gimmicky can you get – it’s a fucking trailer.

I don’t line up to watch ads. We’ll have seen plenty by the time this thing opens.

    (but I’ll sign up, anyway)

  6. “if you’re selected to join..”?

    please.

  7. I think the “selected to join” thing refers to whether or not your video-question will be played/answered by Spielberg or JGL.
