Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.
WOW! And I thought I was dazzled by Streep in Angels in America.
I never would have recognized each actor in every role without seeing this first.
Okay – so the Makeup Oscar has already been determined!
Can’t wait to see this!
I want to see it nooowww!!!
I was already excited about this movie, but now I can’t even wait! The make-up made those actors unrecognizable, while still keeping them looking like real people. On top of which, this whole cast is incredibly talented, so you know they’ll all immerse themselves into each character.
Movies like these are why cinefiles exist.
That was truly lovely but I am now kinda sad for 2 reasons.
First, it was a bit spoilery for me. I wanted to experience the whole film first and then realize “OMG that was Jim, that was Halle” and so on. Such wonder should be experienced during the actual movie going experience. It was why I avoid most movie clips and featurettes but goddamit it is Cloud Atlas.
Second, why can’t I see this film right now!? The wait, the torment!!!!!
Uh oh. I might have new favorite for 2012 by the end of next weekend.
btw, I had to buy a cheap tablet since my computer exploded. In case I don’t seem like myself.
I am SO freakin excited for this film. Like your daughter, Sasha, this looks like a film that could end up being one of my favorite films of all time. I LOOOVED the Red Violin, and this looks even better. I haven’t the slightest idea what the story REALLY is, but even if it’s flawed LIKE the Red Violin, I will still love it and cry my eyes out.
I … can’t f’ing WAIT!
