    Who’s the orange one?

You know there was a time on earth when our celebrities were able to have their own style and didn’t need a magazine to give it to them for one shoot. Scarlett should be walking around like that for 6 months and then on to something else. But noooooo… be boring and basic blonde 24/7. Pfft.

I love how Scarlett looks. No disrespect to Anna Paquin, but I always felt that Rogue (My favorite X-Men) should look more like this…..you know sexier lol.

Scarlett looks great. Others looks like wannabe-goth weirdos.

True dat, MKing. For whatever reason, the X-Men films seemed to make Paquin’s character a combination of Jubilee and Rogue, which is interesting, considering that they’re polar opposites.

ScarJo’s is my least favourite, actually. It’s the least fashion-orientated, the most conventionally sexy. I love Keira and Mia’s hairstyles, and the more I look at Rooney’s, the more I like it.

I don’t think they’re being given their styles, Antoinette. They’re modelling styles for the magazine, that’s all. Indeed, I’d consider all four of these actresses to have pretty strong senses of personal style in real life, particularly Keira.

Don’t really like these. But I do agree that Scarlett looks like she’s trying out for Rogue on that cover. Rooney just looks weird. Mia and Keira look… Interesting.

Interesting covers…I don’t love them or really dislike them, they’re just…alright. Scarlett kind of reminds me of Debbie (Blondie) Harry in that photo.

Why does this fall under Best Actress? These 4 aren’t really up for anything this year.

@Bill: Not up for anything? Kiera is a strong contender for a Best Actress nomination, and maybe Scarlett is for Best Supporting Actress.

Rooney was nominated last year, Mia is a nominee-waiting-to-happen.

Just for the sake of Kiera, this falls under the “Best Actress” banner.

Mia’s photo excites me the most.

Keira is a strong BA contender, whether people like it or not. It’s one of those “just wait and see” moments.

I remember how many people dismissed the idea of Melissa Leo as a Supporting Actress nominee in 2010 at the October/November stage. She was not only nominated, but went on to win the fucking thing.

I mean, I’m not saying Keira will win or that I want her to win. But we’d better hold our horses a little when talking about nominations.

Rooney looks a bit like a young Frances McDormand.

All are beautiful actresses. All look terrible in the photos. Another case of trying too hard.

Naomie Harris could have rocked one of these covers. Scarlett put me in the mid of Rogue, but Mia’s is the best.

I like that these are grotesques. It’s both high fashion and a critique of Hollywood’s obsession with girls over women.

They’re all horrifying, and they all look like the same person. Why get celebrities when you’re planning to blanch them of all their personality? This is an insult to these actresses, and proof that fashion, as a whole, hates the women they dress.

Speaking of actresses, Sasha just got quoted by the Huff Post on Anne Hathaway’s decision to vie for Best Actress with her Catwoman role.

Godawful. Presumably to a one they now know what NOT to sign off on next time the fashion rags come calling.

Mia looks like Catherine Zeta Jones and Rooney looks like Cher.
Scarlett looks great, but then again she’d look great in a garbage bag.

Hahaha I know right. It’s funny that you mentioned Jubilee because Paquin also plays a character name Sookie…..who happens to shoot sparks out of her hand LOL.

Is it just me or does Rooney look very Johnny Depp-ish as Willy Wonka.

Ugly covers. Not a fan of any of those 4 actresses so I don`t care that they don`t look good here. I bet ohotos with no make-up would be even worse.

Is this the monster mash Halloween issue or something? ūüėÄ Scarlett’s cover looks the best. I like the two toned hair and the pose, good makeup too. Will like to see her in a gothic horror film as the mad killer!

Agree. Scarlett would have been good as Rogue but I liked Anna Paquin too. They should have Scarlett replace January “can’t act her way out of a paperbag” Jones as Emma Frost in the X-Men First Class prequels. I almost fell asleep watching January Jones try to “act”. She made the dynamic kickass Emma Frost character look like a completely bland Barbie doll. That’s not Emma Frost, read the comics Jan Jones!

I thought January Jones is pitch perfect for Emma Frost… I felt the coldness in her character…

    Then again I haven’tread the comics…
