    the first trailer is useless, doesn’t add anything, the 2nd one is exciting though, with new musical arrangements. btw the trailers and the 5 clips released this weekend, they’ve shown us a lot already, I don’t want them to show us the whole movie before it’s come out.

    Anne Hathaway is the only cast member universally praised even by those who don’t like the musical. So she should take central stage in the advertisements.

    They are showing as little singing as possible for these general public trailers.

    @Sam they do that. they’ve done that ever since EVITA came out. for some reason studio marketing reps think that the general public doesn’t know what a musical is. see the PHANTOM trailer, and SWEENY TODD, etc. etc. the only one to have balls to represent itself authentically was HAIRSPRAY.
