    46 years ago yesterday. What he has contributed to cinema in those 46 years is an achievement almost unparalleled for a critic.

    fix your attitude?

    Ebert began working part-time at the Sun-Times in September 1966. He didn’t join the Sun-Times as full-time staffer until he became the paper’s film critic in April 1967.
