I LOVE this band. So does Russell Crowe, worth noting.
Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.

I saw them in a talent show when I was in middle school. They were amazing then. They’re amazing now. Ironically, they didn’t even place in the talent show.
I doubt it will end up eligible, much less nominated for Best Song, but it would be great to see them perform at the ceremony, they’re easily one of the best live acts performing today.
@Raygo: Yes, I agree!. A “Must Listening” sidebar would be very much appreciated.
I’ve discovered more great music reading Sasha and listening to the podcasts. I wish you had a “Must Listening” sidebar somewhere on AD.
Oops, I should have done my research. No Lumineers like the trailer. (I’m not sure about The Head and The HEart on a trailer, I can’t recall hearing it, but I’m no trailer expert but it’s not on the soundtrack.)
Can anyone confirm or deny if “Hey Ho” is actually in the movie. I think I might like this soundtrack more than any other film in history.
Love this song!…great band. Terrific video as well, makes me even more excited to see Silver Linings Playbook.
I knew I’d like this movie when the trailer featured a song from The Head and the Heart. Love Alabama Shakes.
