DisneyMusicVevo’s YouTube Channel just posted this pretty cool animation of Idina Menzel singing “Into the Unknown” and the storyboarding that goes along with it. The song was, of course, written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez and is nominated for Original Song.
Here is a film that I won’t be seeing, till it is on streaming. Shrugged to the first one, and think Let it go was terribly overrated and undeserving of the Best Original Song win, specially in front of Happy, by Pharrell Williams, which probably was the song of the year, movie or not… and also, probably the weakest of all the Animated Feature nominees… yes, even Depicable Me 2 was better…
It’s just a wonderful song in a wonderful movie. Can’t believe I enjoyed this film even more than the first. But it’s just deeper; richer. I loved all the songs this time – I realize I’m in the minority on that – and Into the Unknown would be a worthy Oscar winner. That said, I think Rocketman might have this one; and that would be a deserving winner, too.
