Congratulations to the designer who thought it would be clever to inflate the actors’ heads, making their faces 110% too large for their bodies. Good work, you’ve succeeded in turning Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson into bobblehead dwarfs.
If the intention of the reimagined Holmes and Watson is to give them a sexier action-adventure image, doesn’t it diminish the effect if the posters look like two little kids wearing extra-large sleuth masks for Halloween? Did some marketing genius look at the posters with heads scaled to normal proportions and say, “Nice try. But can we make them both look more like Verne Troyer?”
