Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.

It´s a good point, thank you very much.
I enjoyed the romance and some of the dance choreography, but as a whole the film was frankly too silly for my tastes…
BTW, that didn’t really answer my question Rufus. Paul Mercurio did excellent for a debut acting role, but surely he wasn’t the only reason the film garnered the sort of praise it got from AFI, BAFTA, and the Globes….
Actually I have more common sense than most and I have pretty decent sense of grammar and whatnot, but proper English is not all that necessary for my job and online I certainly don’t give a fuck…
Now that I’ve answered your question, I will point out that English is important no matter what your profession is. Hopefully you’d agree that non-Science people have a grasp of basic science tenets. You need to be well-rounded.
Paul Mercurio.
Why don’t I live in any of these places!?
Ok Mattoc, but I’m not an English major…I’m an Engineer. Now is anyone going to answer my question?
Ok Mattoc, but I’m not an English major…I’m an Engineer.
Engineers don’t get a free pass to speak the language of assholes. It’s not about being an English major. It’s about common sense. (I know, I know. You don’t major in Common Sense.)
Scott – that’s not the correct nomenclature.
Genius shot. PTA does this. He shoots scenes that get to used only to promote screenings. TWBB had similar ad campaign there (you know the hair-cutting scene, or was it the swimming scene or both).
BTW, it’s a good thing that clip was cut cause the way he breathes while running sounds really retarded…
Can anyone tell me what is/was so special about Baz Lurhman’s Strictly Ballroom? Even as a dance addict who watches DWTS religiously and has a few gulity favs like Dirty Dancing and Shall We Dance, well I didn’t like Strictly Ballroom all that much. I finally just saw it and I’m finding it hard to justify all the accolades it received…
Wait, so that beautiful shot is not in the movie? Damn. One can only imagine what amazingness awaits if a shot that breathtaking was deemed a throwaway to be used for a random screening teaser.
