thank you, Ms. Stone, for posting this. very well done. i’m a bit of a luddite who still has a land line (if someone wants to talk to me, leave a msg) and finds the allure of “texting” to be somewhat puzzling. the comment of the Utah young man who felt uncomfortable talking to people on the phone and prefers texting is still a foreign concept to me–and hope it remains a bizarre practice and not one i adopt. i’ve almost been clipped in traffic and as a pedestrian by driving phone talkers and texters–and for what? so that people can constantly and addictively share the minutiae of their lives at the risk of the life someone else? i worry about our consistently self absorbed and doggedly electronically addicted society. thanks again for this important short film.
