Syfy’s TV adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s 1995 sci-fi favorite starring Bruce Willis as a man who travels back in time to stop a plague that will wipe out mankind only to wind up in an insane asylum with Brad Pitt for his trouble debuts January 16th. In the mean time, the network would like to tempt you with the series debut’s first 9 minutes.
The Bruce Willis part is played by Aaron Stanford (Pyro in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand), Canadian actress Emily Hampshire (Snow Cake) plays a bit of a twist on the Brad Pitt part and Amanda Schull (Mao’s Last Dancer) plays a virologist who wants to be able to prevent the next plague which history shows is an inevitability.
