Finally. After seemingly years of anticipation, teasers, cast pictures, and buzz, FX has unveiled the first full trailer for Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. Some will love it. Some will hate it. But, if the final product is as focused (unlikely) and hot button-y (definitely) as this trailer, then the real Emmy 2016 battle will be between this and FX’s other incredibly high-profile product… Fargo Season Two.
That feels like a remake of Sophie’s Choice brewing right there. Wonder how far FX will push the Television Academy to change rules to allow ACS in the drama races? Don’t say it can’t happen…
