The X-Files movie now has a title, Cinematical reports. Very little is known about the movie except that it’s something fans have wanted for a long time, something Gillian Anderson has said will be “scary and gruesome, and may rescue the careers of Anderson and David Duchovny who, despite creative and interesting endeavors, have never quite matched the popularity of the original series. Who can blame anyone for cashing in in the last act? If you know you have one last chip to call, why not. Either which way, as a fan of the series I can’t wait for the movie. Mulder and Scully have been too far gone and it will be nice to have them back.
