As tmoves pointed out last night, the one-sheet for Precious has its splintered graphic roots in the work of Saul Bass. Unlike the verbatim quote in the Clockers poster several years ago, the artist who designed the Precious image knows that while imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, inspiration trumps imitation.
