Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Trailer 2

The second trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is one of those for which any synopsis would be superfluous. I’m happy to see the movie captures the attitude of the comic series better than I thought possible and Edgar Wright looks like a brilliant choice to direct. But yeesh, how much happier will I be when someday Michael Cera ceases to be the go-to geek avatar for this type of film. That said, at least he’s playing his age as Pilgrim, but Kieran Culkin as Scott’s gay roommate Wallace Wells and Jason Schwartzman as the elusive Gideon Graves are more inspired casting picks.
