In lieu of any other very compelling news this morning, I’ll pass along a rumor Slashfilm picked up from Bleeding Cool. “Multiple sources” say Jamie Bell has maybe been chosen to play Peter Parker in Sony’s Spider-Man reboot. That’s it. That’s all we know. Stay tuned for eventual confirmation or retraction. Aside from sounding like a perfect fit to me, I’ll confess a major motivation for posting such vagary is the opportunity to patch together the Billy Elliot/Spidey acrobatics mash-up.
