BFCA Scores by Category: BP, Doc, Acting – UPDATED

We’ve reached a point in the season when many of the eventual nominees have been viewed, at least by critics, and it’s possible to compare them within categories by their Broadcast Film Critics scores. Not necessarily the proof of the pudding, where Oscar nominations are concerned, but still a strong indicator. There are always a few with higher scores that get passed over, while lower ones (Anne Hathaway in Rachel Getting Married) leap to the fore. So take it all with a grain of salt. Last year’s cutoff score for Best Picture was 85. This year, we could conceivably see something in the low 80s, or even high 70s, getting in.
