Empire has been gradually teasing a dozen close-up details of Steven Spielberg’s and Peter Jackson’s Tintin, and our first glimpse of the photo-realistic animation style looks impressive. Slashfilm has assembled the tiles onto an overlay of the iconic pose of intrepid Tintin and his loyal fox terrier Snowy, and I believe we might get to see the full frame filled in tomorrow, November 1. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for it. Meanwhile you can check out the pieces of the puzzle falling into place as the comic “comes to life” after the cut.
hmm, I’m not so sure about the piece they’ve inserted under Tintin’s crotch — that one doesn’t seem to match at all. We’ll find out more on Monday. So far, I’m loving it.
