First Images of Spielberg's War Horse

Empire Mag has just posted several images from Spielberg’s War Horse. ¬†Lovely, indeed. ¬†You can head over to Empire to check them out. ¬†They also point us to this story in the Daily Mail about the actor chosen to play the part.

‘I’m not a huge animal person,’ Jeremy confessed, ‘and I didn’t grow up around horses. In fact, I’d never ridden a horse.

‘During the audition process I tried to brush up on that,’ he said, and to that end he started helping out at a local stables.

He kept being called back to audition until one evening, he got a telephone call from his agent.

‘Steven Spielberg would like to have a cup of tea with you tomorrow morning at nine o’clock, can you do that?’ the agent said.

‘Ah, yes, I think I can,’ Jeremy replied. He met Spielberg, and the part was his.
