Can’t wait to see Tilda in this movie. She’s one of the most interesting actresses working today – along with Cate Blanchett,Anne Hathaway, Naomi Watts, and Michelle Williams.

Chen, The remake or the original?
christiannnw, Thank you but I think I’ll pass… I don’t feel like sitting through White Chicks again… ever… Seeing it once was more than enough…
Ryan, Love Jarmusch (I own Stranger Than Paradise, Down By Law and Night on Earth on DVD)… Really wanted to rewatch Cinema Paradiso but I think I lent the DVD to my mother and never got it back (because I couldn’t find it)… So I ended up rewatching my DVD of Il Postino instead….
Linda, The problem is that it isn’t playing anywere near me… These are the only films currently playing at my local arthouse-cinema’s (I am not planning on going to a mainstream cinema… Just because the movies shown there tend to disapoint me): http://www.lux-nijmegen.nl/film/agenda/week & http://www.focusarnhem.nl/programma.aspx …Any recomendations from those?

@ The Ghost of Easter: white chicks! it’s probably one of the most stupid films you’ll ever see, but every time I die from laughter. showgirls has a similar effect as well.

When I am sad I watch fun with dick and Jane.

The trailer looks good, but the movie just looks to small (to get some real Academy-attention)..
This probably isn’t the place to ask this, but I have to ask it. I recently been feeling depressed (thanks to some personal problems in my life), Does anyone know some great little films that could distract me from these problems (even just for a moment), The kind of film that stays with me long after it’s over. Please, don’t name the obvious titles (that I’ve probably already seen), I want to be suprised by the film…
The Ghost of Easter,
Nights can be gloomy when you’re blue. These movies have helped me through a few.
Day for Night (1973)
Big Night (1996)
Nights of Cabiria (1957)
A Night at the Opera (1935)
Night Train to Munich (1940)
Night on Earth (1991)
Night Shift (1982)
Night and the City (1950)
It Happened One Night (1934)
The Night of the Shooting Stars (1982)
Hard to go wrong with any movie that has Night in the title (though maybe not Night and Fog or Long Days Journey Into Night)
& even though it’s obvious, even if you’ve seen it a half dozen times, consider watching Cinema Paradiso again.

Paddy M: They just had to get Tilda into the poster somehow. Too bad they couldn’t find another way to do that because this poster is just horrendous

Good god is this trailer incredible; much more “awesome” then i was anticipating for a film with such touchy subject matter.

The poster would be so much better if they used just that image of Ezra Miller’s face behind the title. That would have the same kind of power one expects from the film.

We need to talk about redesigning that poster.

I actually don’t like the trailer…I think it’s trying too hard to be artistic, in a contrived way, slightly like a parody of similar French movies.

TILDA. Also, what a superb, claustrophobic trailer.

The poster initially strikes me as kind of blah, but the trailer … HOLY F-Ballz!
